Cosjoype Kids Smart Watch User Manual

This guide explains setup, daily use, and care for Cosjoype kids smart watches. It focuses on practical steps and answers the questions parents usually have when getting started.

Phone-free toy smartwatch (no calls, no GPS, no internet)

1. Getting started

Charging the watch

Charge the watch fully before first use. Connect the cable to the watch, then plug it into a USB power source.

While charging, a battery icon appears on the display. Charging commonly takes about two hours.

Keep it simple: Avoid fast-charging adapters and avoid leaving the watch charging overnight.

Power on and off

To turn the watch on, press and hold the power button for a few seconds until the screen lights up.

To turn the watch off, press and hold the power button and select Power Off on-screen.

If the screen freezes: Press and hold the power button longer to restart.

3. Set time and date

Time, date, and format

Open Settings, then select Time & Date. Set hours, minutes, date, and time format.

The watch keeps time internally and does not require internet access.

Tip: If the watch is used across time zones, reset the time after arrival.

4. Camera and video

Photos

Open the Camera app and tap the shutter icon to take a photo. Photos save automatically.

Children can review and delete photos directly from the watch.

Storage: Media is saved to the watch’s storage (often via a memory card, depending on the package).

Videos

Switch the Camera app to video mode, then tap record to start and stop. Videos save automatically.

Video is designed for short clips and everyday fun, not high-resolution capture.

5. Music player

Add music from a computer

Connect the watch to a computer with the included cable. The watch appears as a storage device.

Copy supported audio files into the Music folder, then safely eject before unplugging.

Note: Music must be added as files. There is no streaming or online library.

Play music on the watch

Open the Music app to browse tracks. Use on-screen controls to play, pause, skip, and adjust volume.

6. Voice recorder

Record and replay

Open Recorder and tap record to start. Tap again to stop. Files save automatically.

Use the on-screen list to replay recordings or delete them as needed.

7. Games

Built-in games by model

Games are preloaded and vary by model (commonly 24, 26, or 39). Open Games to see available titles.

Games open and close like small apps. There are no downloads, ads, or in-app purchases.

Practical tip: Short play sessions help preserve battery life.

8. Pedometer

Step counting

The watch counts steps while worn during normal movement. It is meant for everyday activity awareness.

Step counts can vary based on motion and fit. This feature is not medical-grade tracking.

9. Time tools

Alarm

Use Alarm to set wake-up times or reminders. Alarms sound directly on the watch.

Timer and stopwatch

Use Timer for short activities like homework blocks or breaks. Use Stopwatch for timing games or challenges.

10. Calculator and calendar

Calculator

The calculator supports basic arithmetic and is intended for simple school or daily needs.

Calendar

The calendar displays dates and helps children get familiar with weeks and months.

11. Flashlight

Flashlight mode

The flashlight turns the screen brightness fully on to provide basic illumination in low light.

This is useful for finding items or casual use, not as a safety flashlight.

12. Settings

Common settings

Open Settings to adjust language, brightness, volume, and theme options (model dependent).

Changes apply immediately.

13. Parental control

Game time management

Some models include a game time or period setting to limit when games are available.

When active, games cannot be opened outside allowed time windows. Core watch functions remain usable.

14. Reset and recovery

Restart vs. reset

If the watch slows down or becomes unresponsive, restart first by holding the power button.

If problems continue, use Settings → Reset and follow on-screen instructions.

Before resetting: Back up photos, videos, recordings, and music. Reset may erase stored files.

15. Battery and charging tips

What affects battery life

Battery life changes with use. Games, camera, and music playback reduce time between charges.

Lower brightness and shorter camera sessions can extend battery life.

Typical routine: Many families charge every few days rather than daily, depending on use.

16. Care and handling

Daily care

The watch is designed for everyday wear, but it is still an electronic device.

Avoid water exposure unless your specific model explicitly states water resistance. Remove it for bathing or swimming.

Use a screen protector to reduce scratches from desks, backpacks, and play.

17. Troubleshooting

Watch won’t turn on

Charge for at least 30 minutes, then try powering on again. If the cable is loose, reconnect firmly.

Watch freezes

Restart by holding the power button. If freezing repeats, consider a reset after backing up files.

Music doesn’t appear

Confirm files were copied into the Music folder and safely ejected. If needed, try a different audio format.

Battery drains quickly

Reduce brightness and limit camera usage. Charging habits and frequent gaming can also affect battery time.

18. Intended use

What this watch is designed to do

It does not support calling, texting, GPS tracking, or internet browsing.
